''Platinum'' is the 2011 Owl Studios debut from legendary Jazz/Funk group The Headhunters. The album follows The Headhunters' tendency to blend genres and instrumentation, deftly moving from Jazz to Hip Hop to R&B and back again throughout each track and the series of interludes and segues which joins them together. The album is in part a response to The Headhunters immense influence on Hip Hop through the sampling of The Headhunters track God Made Me Funky off of Survival of the Fittest, which has been sampled by everyone from Eric B. and Rakim to De La Soul to Mobb Deep to the Fugees and Prince, among others. With ''Platinum'', The Headhunters embraced this influence through their inclusion of Hip Hop and Funk artists such as Snoop Dogg, George Clinton, Killah Priest, and Jaecyn Bayne.〔http://www.allaboutjazz.com/php/news.php?id=80253〕 ==Track listing== #"Platinum Intro" (:50) #"Mission Statement" (4:01) feat Jaecyn Bayne #"Reality Of It" (:17) #"Salamander" (7:09) #"I Predict A Good year" (:11) #"D-Funk (Funk With Us)" (4:48) feat Snoop Dogg, George Clinton, Killah Priest, Cynthia Layne, & Jaecyn Bayne #"I Feel Really Good About" (:10) #"Tracie" (6:01) #"Rehearse Everybody" (:13) #"Paging Mr. Wesley" (5:31) #"M Trane" (8:48) #"Apple Tree" (5:18) feat Jaecyn Bayne #"Palm Nut" (6:53) #"Years Of Touring" (:10) #"Congo Place" (4:55) feat Donald Harrison #"On The Road" (:16) #"Head Hunting" (4:48) #"Skizness" (3:50) feat Private Pile #"Soul Glow" (5:29) #"Platinum Outro" (:42) 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Platinum (The Headhunters album)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
